Terms of Service

Agreement

Burrow Studio LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates MockDPE (“the Service”), an AI-powered FAA Instrument Rating oral exam simulator at mockdpe.org. By accessing or using the Service, you (“you,” “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to use MockDPE. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Each individual may maintain only one account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Subscription & Billing

Premium features require a paid subscription, billed through Stripe (our merchant of record under Stripe Managed Payments) on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

No refunds. All sales are final. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings to prevent future charges, but no refunds will be issued for the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ advance notice. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period after the notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple individuals to use a single account
  • Use the Service to harass, spam, or abuse other users
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, subscription gates, or other security measures
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

AI Disclaimer

MockDPE is a practice and study tool. It is not a substitute for professional flight instruction, an FAA-approved training program, or an actual FAA practical examination.

AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies or errors. You should always verify information against official FAA publications including the Airman Certification Standards (ACS), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).

Burrow Studio LLC is not responsible for the outcome of any FAA checkride or practical examination. Use of MockDPE does not guarantee passing any FAA examination.

All written content on mockdpe.org — including study guides, pillar articles, ACS task pages, aircraft pages, airport pages, regulation explainers, FAQs, and any other prose published on the site — is generated entirely by artificial intelligence. No portion of this written content has been authored, reviewed, fact-checked, verified, or approved by a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII), Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE), aviation attorney, FAA representative, or any other certificated or licensed aviation professional.

AI-generated content can contain factual errors, hallucinated citations, outdated regulatory references, misstated section numbers, and subtly incorrect paraphrases of regulations or procedures. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Burrow Studio LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access without notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Your continued use of MockDPE after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
